Vintage "The Skaters" Christmas Plate 1977

This is the First edition of a series of White Bone China Christmas Plates by 1977 Royal Doulton, Skating Pair Christmas Plate, 8.5 inches in diameter. A Pair of happy skaters on the pond amongst snow laden Fir Trees. Rim decorated with Holly sprigs and raised relief. Plate is embossed and with a gold leaf rim. Item is in overall good condition. This is the first issued year out of a series. A vintage plate, in excellent new condition. Has the original felt box and paperwork.

Great for a holiday serving plate, cookies for Santa plate, give a gift of cookies on this lovely plate.
